Na Beanna Beola
The Twelve Bens are a group of small mountains that are the dominant
feature of the Connemara countryside. While they are
not particularly high, 730 metres being the highest peak, they provide
excellent walking and climbing opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast.
The Maamturks
The Maamturks walk covers over 24km of tough and unforgiving mountainous terrain with a total ascent of 2336 metres. It begins between Maam and Maam cross and ends in the beautiful village of Leenane at the head of Killary Harbour.
